Turn discovery into strategic advantage.
Search every format of evidence, surface the statements, objects, and facts inside it, and ask anything about the case. Private intelligence, built for the defense.
Built for defense work by people who run mission-critical platforms and have spent years inside investigations. Working criminal defense attorneys validate every feature.
The prosecution has the stack for modern discovery: Cellebrite, Axon, Brainspace.
Defense counsel does the harder work: finding what those productions bury.
Coherence is the workspace built for that work.
Defense only. Always.

How Coherence works
Six steps from import to exhibits.
Import
Sync from TechShare, OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, or Box. Or import from a local device.
Index and transcribe
Documents, emails, chats, Bates productions, audio, and video, transcribed across dozens of languages and searchable the moment they land. Integrity checks on import.
Map the case
Faces matched across cameras. Voices linked to speakers. Officers identified from bodycam burn-in. Phones, plates, vehicles, places, money, and weapons extracted. Cited to its source.
Investigate
Run targeted analyzers across the case: cross-camera face match, officer roster, chronology windows, weapon and vehicle search. Or ask a question about who, what, when, or where. Answers cite their source.
Review side by side
Scrub video and transcript together. Continuity breaks flagged. Search and filter across the case. Add notes, flag passages, and mark exhibits as you read.
Build exhibits
Cut video and audio clips, pull document snippets, gather references. Sorted and ready to cite and present offline.
Purpose built for the defense
The prosecution side has purpose built platforms. Now the defense does too.
Ask the discovery the questions that matter.
- When was my client free to leave?
- Was Miranda given before questioning?
- Does the bodycam match the offense report?
- Do the officers describe the same stop?
Answered on our servers. Never sent to outside model providers. Not stored.
Security built for privileged work
Enterprise controls today. Third-party attestation in progress.
Processed in house
Your case runs on Coherence's own systems, start to finish. No third-party model APIs in the path.
Preserved as received
Every file is hashed on arrival. Chain of custody stays intact and provable in court.
Encryption and access
Encryption at rest and in transit, MFA, role-based access, and a full audit trail on every account.
Texas, on Azure
Your data stays in Azure data centers in Texas. Residency is a product constraint, not a preference.
Why Coherence
Everyone deserves a fair trial. Our clients believe that. So do we. A fair trial requires a fair fight.
As a digital investigator, I know what the prosecution's tools can do. The defense deserves the same caliber of capability.
Defense lawyers spend more time fighting discovery than fighting for their clients. The work that wins cases gets crowded out by the work of keeping up. Finding what the prosecution missed. Connecting facts across files. Building the timeline.
Coherence is for that work. So defense attorneys, paralegals, and their clients can spend their hours where they should have been all along: on the client, on the argument, on the win.
My standing promise: bring the latest technology to the defense, fitted and tested for criminal and public defense work. Fidelity, privilege, safety, or it doesn't ship.

Questions defense teams ask
Straight answers on evidence, privilege, privacy, and court use.
What kind of evidence does Coherence handle?
Documents, emails, chats, Bates numbered productions, audio, photos, and video: bodycam, dash cam, interrogation footage, street CCTV, residential surveillance, with or without timestamps. Everything indexed and transcribed across dozens of languages.
Who is Coherence built for?
Criminal defense attorneys, public defender offices, court-appointed counsel on the CJA panel, and capital defense teams. Coherence is not used by prosecution offices and is not connected to law enforcement systems.
How does the multi camera viewer work?
Lock every bodycam from the scene to one timeline and watch the moment from every angle at once. Up to eight feeds in one grid. Dash cam, interrogation room, street CCTV, surveillance: any video drops into the grid. When timestamps are present, the feeds stay in sync; without them, each source runs on its own clock.
Does Coherence surface Miranda issues and other tensions in the evidence?
Yes. Miranda analyzers flag gaps, timing, and completeness for review. You can also ask the file when reports and bodycam pull apart. Cited to source. Suggests, never concludes.
What can I ask with private intelligence?
Ask the discovery the questions that matter:
- When was my client free to leave?
- Was Miranda given before questioning?
- Does the bodycam match the offense report?
- Do the officers describe the same stop?
Answered on our servers. Never sent to outside model providers. Not stored.
Does Coherence send our queries to OpenAI, Anthropic, or other outside services?
No. Coherence runs its own inference servers. Questions are never sent to OpenAI, Anthropic, or other outside model providers, and we don’t store them.
How is privileged work product protected?
Every row is labeled as work product by default unless you mark it otherwise. Built to meet the security standards privileged work demands.
Can I use Coherence offline in the courtroom?
The exhibit binder runs offline. Mark clips, snippets, and references as you work; the binder bundles them with their citations and plays from a local file at trial, no wifi needed. The live workspace itself requires a connection.
